Scottish soprano Juliet Montgomery graduated with an MMus from the Royal Northern College of Music under the tuition of Sarah Rhodes.
Operatic credits include Fiametta The Gondoliers, Peep Bo The Mikado, Zorah Ruddigore (National G&S Opera Company), Adalgisa Norma (Preston Opera), Susanna The Marriage of Figaro (Opera on Location), Countess A Dinner Engagement (MOE), Valencienne The Merry Widow (Preston Opera), First Lady Magic Flute (RNCM Spotlight), Isobel Pirates of Penzance (Heritage Opera), Una Novizia Suor Angelica (MOE), Clara La Vie Parisienne and Susan Company (RNCM). Juliet has performed with the chorus of Scottish Opera and most recently joined the chorus of Opera North for their semi-staged production of Verdi’s Aida. She has performed internationally, on radio and on television and was a Young Artist in Buxton Opera’s MacBeth in 2017.
A keen recitalist, Juliet performs regularly with baritone Aidan Edwards. Their concert An Evening of Song enjoys annual showcases at the Edinburgh Festival as well as at several venues throughout Scotland and the north of England. Juliet is thrilled to be performing for the first time with Northern Opera Group.
