Opera Rave

Uniting operagoers and ravers within one musical experience

 

During this year’s Leeds Opera Festival (5 August to 8 September 2024), the Opera Rave team – led by Guest Artistic Director, Emma Hill - will experiment with a new way of experiencing opera.

 

We’ll be throwing open the doors to the R&D process – sharing our discoveries through pop-up performances and digital content across five days, beginning Tuesday 27 August 2024.

 

On Saturday 31 August, the Opera Rave team will also share short excerpts of their creation with the audience of the Festival’s headline show, Sherlock Holmes and The Sign of Four.

 

Opportunities for emerging practitioners in the arts will be created within the Opera Rave project and across the festival, with details to be announced soon.
