Musical Confusion

We’re celebrating one of Shakespeare’s most iconic characters with an evening of food, music from Falstaff operas, and a screening of Orson Welles’ masterpiece ‘Chimes and Midnight’ which follows the story of Sir John Falstaff across five of Shakespeare’s plays.

You’ll enjoy a sumptuous buffet feast to the accompaniment of pieces from three Falstaff operas – Verdi, Salieri and Balfe – followed by Welles’ self-proclaimed greatest film, ‘Chimes at Midnight’.

Described by the New York Times as “the greatest Shakespearean film ever made, bar none” and Roger Ebert as “a magnificent film, clearly among Welles' greatest work”, ‘Chimes at Midnight’ is one of the 20th century’s most important additions to Shakespeare’s legacy.

Tickets just £30 for the whole evening, including food, drink on arrival, opera and film!

Tickets are very limited so make sure to book now.
