Shakespeare will take centre stage at our Festival this summer, which from 2019 onwards will be renamed the Leeds Opera Festival.
Running from 23 to 27 August 2019, the headline production of the Leeds Opera Festival will be
music by Charles Villiers Stanford
libretto by Julian Sturgis
This comic gem will be performed in the wonderful Morley Town Hall, and cast members include Charlotte Hoather, Catrin Woodruff and Phil Wilcox.

We're celebrating one of Shakespeare's most iconcic characters with an evening of food, opera and film.
You'll enjoy a sumptuous feast accompanied by music from three Falstaff operas - by Verdi, Salieri and Balfe - followed by a screening of Orson Welles' masterpiece, 'Chimes at Midnight'.
